Israel comes up tops in low-scoring encounter
Israel defeated Isle of Man by three wickets in a tightly fought match in the European Championships WCL Division Three in Spain on Wednesday at La Manga.

Isle of Man chose to bat first and was bowled out for 80 in an innings which lasted 43 overs. In reply, Israel used up 47.2 overs reaching its target while losing seven wickets.
In the other matches of the day, Spain got the win it desperately needed to defeat Belgium by five wickets. Belgium posted 206 all out in 47 overs while the hosts reached the target in 48.1 overs for the loss of five wickets.
Malta recorded an emotional victory over Portugal by seven wickets at Sporting Alfas after Man of the Match John Callus posted an unbeaten half century to steer his side to the historic win. Portugal was dismissed for 187 in 43 overs while Malta achieved the set total in less than 42 overs.
