Big wins for Greece and Sweden on third day of Division 5 Championship

Hosts Greece and Sweden registered massive victories on Day Three of the European Division 5 Championships in Greece on Wednesday. Bulgaria also posted a real surprise when it beat Estonia by six wickets at Ropa Valley, to secure its maiden victory in the European competition.
Greece maintained its unbeaten record as it strolled to victory over Turkey at Marina. Having posted a daunting total of 299-9 in 50 overs, the Greeks were never in any real danger of being overhauled and would run out comfortable winners by 209 runs.
In the adjacent ground, Sweden posted a massive 348-9 against the Czech Republic to win by 223 runs. Chris Tebbutt recorded the first century of the tournament with a fine 104-ball innings of 108, including 11 fours and two sixes.
Thursday will be a reserve day and the following day will see Estonia take on the Czech Republic at Marina while Sweden plays Turkey and Bulgaria clashes with Greece at Rupa Valley.
