Ireland picked up the remaining six wickets on day three to seal an innings and 84-run victory over Netherlands in the ICC Intercontinental Cup match in Dublin.
Resuming on 71-4, the Dutch were unable to make the 149 runs needed to make their opponent bat again.
Nick Statham (26) fell to Allan Eastwood early on before the pace man picked up the third of his four wickets when Tom Heggelman was caught behind for 16.
Albert van der Merwe (3-15) struck twice in three deliveries and then finished off the away side when he had Bernard Loots caught and bowled.
Netherlands captain Peter Borren had been the ninth wicket to fall, after making a top score of 37, to give Eastwood figures of 4-62.
Ireland claim their first win of the 2009/10 Intercontinental Cup at the fourth attempt, whilst the Netherlands slip to their fifth defeat in six matches.
