Ireland Academy claimed a three-wicket victory over England Under-17s at Loughborough to square the series.
Chasing 243 in a match reduced to 48-overs-per-side, Ireland were indebted to Graham McDonnell's 70 not out for getting his team over the line with 15 balls to spare.
Shane Getkate had earlier stolen the show with the ball with 6-63 to help bowl England out for 242 with two balls of their innings left unused.
Jason van der Merwe (1-25), Stuart Thompson (1-35) and Graham McDonnell (1-42) also performed steadily with the ball.
Alex Lees was England's stand-out batsman with 81.
Hugh McDonnell (55) got the Irish reply off to a good start but England chipped steadily away at the Irish batting.
At 194-7, England looked favourites before Adrian D'Arcy (19 not out) joined man-of-the-match Graham McDonnell in an unbeaten eighth-wicket stand of 49 to see the Irish home.
