This year alongside the Gibraltar coaching role, he will also be managing the Somerset Under -12s age groups, Under-17 girls teams and the Somerset Senior Women's team.

He has worked alongside England player Caroline Atkins, in assisting the professional coaching staff at Taunton, using the facilities at Somerset CCC he is an integral part of the coaching team who has helped the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup, ICC World Twenty20 and Ashes winner.

His particular strength is in spin bowling, this a result of working alongside Terry Jenner, Shane Warne's previous coach in Australia and will be an asset to the Gibraltar Cricket Board.

The Gibraltar Cricket Board is looking to the future with Lawrence: "We will be looking to add him to add the game plans required to succeed at T20 and to re-qualify for the World Cricket League in 2012," said GCB.

Lawrence will be involved with Gibraltar Cricket at La Manga in April, for the games against Spain and Belgium.
