Scotland Women's senior XI has progressed through to the next round of ECB Women's County Championships after the first season in the competition.

The team have already played 3 matches (all of which were away from home) against Northumberland, Cumbria and Durham and won all 3. In the next round of the competition the squad will face county opposition in the way of Devon, Hertfordshire and Worcestershire.

Pete Steindl Senior Women's Coach has praised the efforts of his young squad, "This is a remarkable achievement for the squad. This is the first season that we have played in this competition and I'm delighted that we have progressed to the next stage. The girls have worked extremely hard throughout the season and this is a fantastic reward for all their efforts."

The squad will travel to Loughborough next Wednesday (25th July) to take on Hertfordshire in the first match of Round 2.

Good Luck!!
