Scotland's Wright replaced by Parker

Scotland allrounder withdraws through injury, but uncapped Parker in ODI squad for first time.

Former Scotland Captain Craig Wright has withdrawn from Scotland's One Day International squad to face the Netherlands and Ireland as part of the ICC European Championship in Dublin. Wright has a back injury and following a scan has withdrawn from the side who currently lead the ICC European Championship table with the two ODI's remaining.

The Event Technical Committee has approved a request from Cricket Scotland for a replacement. Eighteen year old Matthew Parker has been brought into the squad.

Event Technical Committee comprises Richard Holdsworth, Tournament Director; David Jukes, Tournament Referee; Alan Hughes, Tournament Organiser; Ray Holyer, Umpire Manager; and Warren Deutrom, Chief Executive Cricket Ireland.
