Last year Europe faced strong competition in the global award categories, with one award being presented to the Region; Jersey Cricket Board's partnership with Her Majesty's Prison La Moye to provide cricket coaching clinics to a group of young offenders was indeed a very worthy winner of the Global Award for Best Spirit of Cricket Initiative in Partnership with UNAIDS and UNICEF.
We know that there are many deserving individuals and an even greater number of development initiatives taking place across our European Member Countries. For this reason, please take a short moment of your time to submit a nomination for this year's awards before the closing date of 20 December 2009.
