Scotland squads announced to play India A

The Scotland selectors have named two 12-man squads for this week's games against India A. The 50-overs-a-side matches take place at Citylets Titwood in Glasgow on Wednesday 23 and Friday 25 June, both with 10.45 starts.
The squads include two uncapped players, both young batsmen. Ollie Hairs has been in fine scoring form this season for Grange in the national league, including two hundreds, and joins Ryan Flannigan (Watsonians) as potential debutants in the games. Flannigan has impressed for the Scotland Lions and National Academy sides, including a superb century against the MCC last week.
Peter Steindl, Scotland head coach, was enthused by the two uncapped players: '"The squad for these games includes three young batsman in Chalmers, Hairs and Flannigan. They have been selected on merit after their contributions within the national performance structure. Their selection shows our desire both to promote youth and to reward good on-field success. With Mommsen, Berrington and Davey also in our squad, we now have six batsman, all under 23, challenging for the top-order places.'"
There was some disappointing late news that Majid Haq had pulled a calf muscle on Sunday, and has been forced to withdraw from these games. A replacement will be announced on Tuesday.
The selections are as follows:
Scotland v India A, Wednesday 23 June: Gordon Drummond (captain), Richie Berrington, Euan Chalmers, Ryan Flannigan, Gordon Goudie, Ollie Hairs, Dougie Lockhart, Ross Lyons, Neil McCallum (vice-captain), Matthew Parker and Fraser Watts.
Scotland v India A, Friday 25 June: Gordon Drummond (captain), Richie Berrington, Euan Chalmers, Ryan Flannigan, Gordon Goudie, Ollie Hairs, Dougie Lockhart, Ross Lyons, Neil McCallum, Preston Mommsen and Matthew Parker.
