Dutch Womens Cricket (the KNCB) today announced that NAN have become the official Clothing Partner of the Women's National Team for the 2010 and 2011 seasons.

Ranked number 10 in the World the team head off to Scotland this weekend to take on England Academy, Scotland and Ireland in three 50 over games which act as the qualifying games for the 2011 World Cup Qualifier in Bangladesh.

Following the games at Stirling Cricket Club in Scotland they travel on to Hartlepool in the UK where they take on Durham in the 4th game of their ECB County Championship season.

Later in the year a squad of 14 will depart for Potchefstroom in South Africa to take on Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Ireland, West Indies and South Africa in the first ever ICC World Women's Cricket Challenge for the countries ranked 6-10. England, New Zealand, Australia and India already have the top 4 ranking positions – the South Africa tournament will redefine the positions 6-10. The Squad will also play 3 Twenty20 games as part of the 2 week challenge series.

Richard Cox CEO said "The amount of travelling the team are doing at present is part and parcel of the world of women's international cricket at the moment and so to have secured a clothing partner such as NAN will make the women's team stand out from the crowd wherever they travel. We are fortunate to be partnering with such a go-ahead and modern company as NAN and we hope that we can be as smart on the field as we are off it."

Nanda Schilperoort – Managing Director of NAN said "the opportunity to support the girls came along at just the right time for NAN as we look to build our brand awareness across the Netherlands and beyond that in time – we are thoroughly looking forward to the next 2 years of working with the KNCB on all sorts of innovative projects which will include the women's team and to profile them on as many occasions as we can."
