Majid stars on first day of I Cup 2011-2013

Play finally got underway in the ICC Intercontinental Cup 2011-2013 season on Friday.
After two days of heavy rain washed out play, hosts Scotland and Netherlands began battle in the first game.
At the Mannofield Park, Aberdeen, Netherlands opted to field first when play finally got underway on the third day.
Scotland ended at a healthy 237 for 3 in 75 overs when more rain ended the day's play early.
The stars of the day for Scotland were Ryan Flannigan (60: 119b, 8x4) and Kyle Coetzer (52: 87b, 5x4, 1x6). Majid Haq was the highest scorer ending the day at an unbeaten 89 (203b, 5x4, 1x6).
Flannigan and Majid addded 105 runs for the second wicket. Later, Majid added 92 runs for the third wicket with Coetzer.
For the Netherlands Mudassar Bukhari ended with figures of 2-70 and skipper Peter Borren scalped the wicket of Coetzer.
