Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Thursday announced that it has requested Cricket Ireland (CI) to rearrange fixtures for the tour in July. The BCB has proposed playing five T20 internationals instead of five ODIs keeping in mind preparation for the ICC World T20 event in Sri Lanka in September.

Bangladesh had organised the tour to give its team much needed practice owing to free slot in the schedule till September. BCB meanwhile has appointed Tanjeeb Ahsan as Manager for the Tour of Zimbabwe in June.

A three-member committee has been formed to oversee the tender process for BCB's worldwide media rights. BCB Vice President Ahmed Sajjadul Alam is the Convener of the committee. Other members are BCB Directors Mirza Salman Ispahani and Aziz Al Kaiser.
