Catching the Spirit at European Presidents Day

On Friday May 8, ICC Europe held its annual European Presidents Day as England took on the West Indies on Day 3 of the first Test at Lord's. Fortunately what started off to be a wet, rainy day ended with brilliant sunshine and an impressive England victory by10 wickets.
European Presidents Day is an annual event in the ICC Europe calendar and sees senior figures of National Cricket Boards across Europe invited to Lord's each year to enjoy a day of networking, hospitality and (weather-permitting) some fantastic international cricket.
During the course of the day the 2008 Pepsi ICC Development Awards (Europe region) were awarded to the respective winners of each category, and a fundraising raffle was held to raise money for the Trevor Henry Memorial Fund - a fund which was set up in Trevor's memory to further umpire education across Europe.
During the day the Catch the Spirit Centenary Flag was also available for Presidents to sign. The flag will now make its way to the next European event.
