Ireland-England ODI to celebrate ICC Centenary year
The ODI encounter between Ireland and England in Belfast on Thursday has been designated a 'Catch the Spirit' match as part of the ICC's Centenary celebrations.

The ICC Centenary is an opportunity to look back at 100 wonderful years of cricket and will celebrate the sport in its Member countries through a range of activities to recognise and reinforce the spirit of the game.

The Stormont match will see the Duckworth-Lewis Method band entertain the crowd during the interval as part of the celebrations. The band members are Irish musicians Thomas Walsh from the band Pugwash in the south and Neil Hannon from the Divine Comedy in the north.

The ICC Centenary is an opportunity to look back at 100 wonderful years of cricket and is also a time to look forward. It celebrates legends that have shaped the game and those who selflessly dedicate their lives to nurturing the next generation.
